Christopher Rogers began their career in 2013 as a Technical Service Person at Texas State University, where they managed a computer lab of more than 40 computers, kept the machine images up to date, serviced two printers, acted as tech support for faculty and staff, and led a team of students to help maintain the lab. In 2015, they moved to Reynolds and Reynolds, where they were a Mainframe Technical Support, troubleshooting issues with mainframe equipment for a large number of auto dealerships around the country and the UK, as well as building, testing, researching, and developing more sophisticated platforms for servers, and writing documentation for these builds including build docs, troubleshooting manuals, and specification sheets. In 2017, they joined Frogslayer as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer and Associate Software Developer, partnering with select clients to rapidly build, launch, and scale software products that create new revenue streams and sources of competitive advantage in compliance-heavy industries like legal, financial services, and healthcare.
