Filipe Silva

Filipe Silva is an accomplished professional serving as the Section Leader for the European Border and Coast Guard. With extensive experience in law enforcement, they have held various commander positions within the Polícia de Segurança Pública in Portugal, overseeing police stations and criminal investigations across multiple regions. Filipe has also contributed to the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia, where they focused on post-conflict monitoring and cultural property protection. They earned a Master’s degree in Police Sciences from the Higher Institute of Police Sciences and Internal Security in Portugal and have completed numerous training courses related to police interventions and international missions.
