Friedrich Scheuermann

Senior Crisis Management Officer at Frontex

Friedrich Scheuermann has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Friedrich started their career in 1993 as a Research Associate at Universität des Saarlandes and later worked as an Academic Assistant at Universität Innsbruck. In 2002, they joined Zukunftszentrum Tirol as a Scientific Project Manager. Friedrich also worked as a Project Manager at Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH) IACM in 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they served as the Director at Institute for Future Studies. In 2006, they became a Contractual Agent at European Commission, DG JRC, IPSC. Currently, they are associated with Frontex, where they held the positions of Senior Training Project Officer and the Head of Coordination Office Situational Awareness and Monitoring Division.

Friedrich Scheuermann holds a Master of Arts degree in Information Science from the Universität des Saarlandes, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Friedrich also received a scholarship in 1993 for Computer and Information Sciences from Åbo Akademi University. Additionally, Friedrich obtained a scholarship in 1991 to 1992 in Droit de la Communicatique from Université de Poitiers. Friedrich has additional certifications in Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, delivered by Silfra, and in Infographic How To: Data, Design, Distribute, though the institutions and dates for these certifications are not provided.
