Gianluca Luraschi is an experienced project manager and information management officer currently working for the European Maritime Safety Agency since September 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating the establishment of the Common Information Sharing Environment (CISE). Additionally, Luraschi has been with Frontex since September 2016, contributing to the Frontex Situational Centre by providing real-time updates on the European migration situation. Previous experience includes roles as project manager at EMSA, managing the Earth Observation Data Centre, and as a geospatial software architect at the Joint Research Centre, where contributions were made to the INSPIRE Directive. Early career highlights involve founding an ICT company, software engineering for Ratti SpA, and applying artificial intelligence principles at Diavia srl. Luraschi holds a laurea in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano, a post-laurea in Cultural Anthropology from Università degli Studi di Padova, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Geopolitics and Security at Sapienza Università di Roma.
