Marek Pyka

Marek Pyka, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Digital Operations Sector at Frontex since July 2021, where also holds the position of Enterprise and ICT Solutions Architect - Team Leader. Previously, Marek Pyka worked at Microsoft from June 2016 to July 2021 as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect specializing in security, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence, and also as a Solutions Architect in the Microsoft Consulting Services - Security and Infrastructure Domain. Earlier experience includes serving as the CEO of ITC-Partners Sp. z o.o. from June 2011 to June 2016, and as an adjunct lecturer at Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu w Dąbrowie Górniczej from August 2001 to June 2016, where responsibilities included research, lectures, and managing the Microsoft Academy. Additionally, Marek Pyka was a Senior Technical Trainer at ABC Data CE from August 2006 to June 2011, overseeing the internal MCT team. Education includes multiple Doctor of Philosophy degrees from The Silesian University of Technology and Warsaw University of Technology.
