Brian Baranski

System Architect Engineer at Frontgrade Technologies

Brian Baranski has over 20 years of experience in the field of electronic engineering, with a focus on system architecture and SOC design. Brian is currently employed as a System Architect Engineer at Frontgrade Technologies, where they contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.

From 2001 to 2023, Brian worked at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, holding various positions. As a Senior Principal SOC Design Engineer, they served as a project lead for an ARM Cortex-based mixed-signal system on a chip for the aerospace market. Brian'sresponsibilities included specification development, design planning, project management, and leadership. Brian played an active role in IP creation, RTL development, integration, and verification.

Brian also worked as a Principal IC Design Engineer at Aeroflex, a Cobham Company. In this role, they led the design of microprocessor-based SOC, overseeing program definition, synthesis, DFT insertion, static timing analysis, formal verification, and test vector generation. Brian collaborated with the product development team to achieve QML qualification, assisting with quality, reliability, production test, burn-in, and radiation test engineering.

During their time at Aeroflex, Brian also served as a Senior IC Design Engineer, leading a project on serial communication protocols. Brian performed synthesis, DFT insertion, static timing analysis, formal verification, and test vector generation. Brian contributed to achieving QML qualification and worked closely with various engineering teams.

Prior to their role as a Senior IC Design Engineer, Brian started their career as an IC Design Engineer at Aeroflex. During this time, they fulfilled multiple roles, including transistor-level memory design, RTL design, and FPGA prototyping. Brian took the lead on a memory project, overseeing schematic entry, HSpice simulation, and Cadence layout entry.

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities in the field of electronic engineering.

Brian Baranski earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Brian attended this university from 1997 to 2001.
