Stephen Hegedus

Stephen Hegedus has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Stephen currently works as an Industrial Engineer at Frontgrade Technologies since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Industrial and Safety Engineer at Albany Engineered Composites from November 2020 to February 2022. Before that, they were an Industrial Engineer at Pratt & Whitney from August 2017 to August 2020.

In 2016, Stephen worked at SIG SAUER, Inc. as a Quality Inspector and Machine Operator. Stephen'sresponsibilities included in-process and receiving inspection, roving inspection of parts, and first article inspection. Stephen gained experience in CNC operation, including set-up, operation, and production of parts on five-axis CNC machines and multi-turret lathes. Stephen also performed heat treating and surface finishing of parts and conducted dimension checks based on control plans.

Prior to that, Stephen worked as a Nuclear Engineer at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard from September 2015 to June 2016. Stephen also held the position of Quality Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from June 2012 to July 2015.

Beginning their career in 2005, Stephen worked as a Warehouse and Office Assistant at Elvex Corp. until August 2011.

Stephen Hegedus attended the University of New Haven from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have also earned additional certifications including Lean Manufacturing from the University of Michigan in November 2019, and ACE Associate from Pratt & Whitney in August 2018.
