James Mitchell

James Mitchell is a Non-Executive Director at Frontier Developments. Prior to their current position, they worked as a QA Technician at Codemasters from March 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they gained essential knowledge and perspective in regards to operating in a contemporary game studio office environment. Key skills they gained whilst working at Codemasters included: software testing concept and Agile development processes, excellent knowledge of essential softwares (Jira, Test Rail, Kibana), and broad understanding of industry relevant terminology. James also learned how to actively communicate with all departments in an effective manner.

Prior to their role at Codemasters, James Mitchell worked as a Cash Officer at Primark from September 2012 to August 2017. In this role, they were responsible for various duties, including testing features, systems, feature sets, test cases and assets on assigned projects; identifying, isolating and reproducing issues from the Testing - following the company’s processes & procedures; reporting identified issues in a database concisely and accurately; and validating addressed issues to determine their status.

James Mitchell graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a Bachelor's degree in Games Art & Design.
