Richard Newbold

Richard Newbold is an accomplished Game Director at Frontier Developments since January 2009, where responsibilities include guiding game vision alongside the Executive Board and leading project teams to ensure high-quality delivery. Initially starting as an Assistant Producer and advancing through roles such as Producer, Senior Producer, and Executive Producer, Richard has managed various aspects of game development, including budget tracking, team management, and marketing efforts. Notable titles include Jurassic World Evolution and Planet Coaster. Prior to Frontier Developments, Richard served as a QA Tester at Rockstar Games, contributing to major releases such as GTA IV and Chinatown Wars. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Games Computing from the University of Lincoln.
