Thomas Morledge

Head Of Technical Animation at Frontier Developments

Thomas Morledge has a strong background in technical animation and rigging. Thomas started their career as a Graduate Artist at Frontier Developments in 2013 and then progressed to the role of Technical Artist, where they developed a rigging and animation pipeline using Autodesk Maya. Thomas also established standards for character controls and scene management and created Python tools for rigging and animation. In 2017, Thomas became the Lead Rigger, responsible for efficient rigging techniques for AAA-quality characters on mobile devices. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Technical Animation at Frontier Developments. Additionally, in 2013, Thomas briefly worked as an Internal IT Support at PKF Cooper Parry.

Thomas Morledge obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Games Design and Programming from Staffordshire University. Thomas studied at the university from 2010 to 2013.
