Willem Wait has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Willem started their career as an Office Associate at Tredcor (Mastertreads) in 1999. After a year, they moved on to Kumba where they worked as a Senior Process Specialist for seven years. In 2007, Willem joined FrontierCo as the CIO, Systems and Solutions Architect. In this role, they managed multiple IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and full system implementations. Willem also focused on process automation, retail business solutions design, and implementing and maintaining security and system controls. Willem is known for their hands-on, cost-effective, and efficient approach, leading the department in delivering service on time and within budget.
Willem Wait completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Liverpool in 2014. Willem then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Haroun Education Ventures MBA Degree Program, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In addition, Willem has obtained several certifications in various fields, including Responsive Web Design, Intermediate Python, Python Fundamentals, How Google does Machine Learning, JavaScript Tutorial course, Launching into Machine Learning, SQL Fundamentals course, Flowgear Technical Certification, Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals, Leveraging Unstructured Data with Cloud Dataproc on Google Cloud Platform, Python 3 Tutorial course, Java Tutorial course, Certified Blockchain and Finance Professional, Certified Blockchain and Supply Chain Professional, Online Degree™ in Blockchain, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 C/Side Development.
