Alberto Amore

Alberto Amore, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Oulu since October 2022 and has a longstanding affiliation with Elsevier as an Associate Editor for Tourism Management Perspectives since August 2015, in addition to his roles as a Peer Reviewer for various prestigious journals. Alberto is also an Editorial Board Member for Current Issues in Tourism, a Social Media Editor for the Regional Studies Association, and a Fellow for both the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and the Higher Education Academy. With extensive teaching experience at Solent University and guest lectureships at IULM University, Alberto has a robust academic background, holding a PhD in Management from the University of Canterbury and multiple degrees in planning and tourism-related fields from respected institutions such as Solent University and Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
