Alfredo Tello serves as the Technical and Sustainability Manager at Camanchaca SA (Salmon Division) since February 2018, leading the transformation of sustainability practices within a pioneering company in the Chilean salmon farming industry. In addition to this role, Alfredo holds the position of Review Editor at Frontiers (Antimicrobial Resistance and Chemotherapy) since July 2013 and served on the Technical Advisory Committee for the Seafood Watch Program at the Monterey Bay Aquarium from January 2019 to December 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Director and Head of Analysis Area at SalmonChile AG (Instituto Tecnológico del Salmón - INTESAL), and a Ph.D. Research Fellow at the University of Stirling, where a significant research project on the environmental impacts of aquaculture pollution was completed. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sustainable Aquaculture from the University of Stirling, participation in the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, and various degrees in Natural Resource Management and Geographical Information Systems from Universidad Católica de Temuco.
