Dr. Asheesh Kumar

Dr. Asheesh Kumar serves as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Chemistry and Frontiers in Physics since August 2022, contributing to the collaborative peer-review process and shaping the strategic direction of the specialty sections focused on Physical Chemistry and Chemical Physics. Dr. Kumar is also a Scientist (Ramanujan Fellow) at the Indian Institute of Petroleum, a position held since February 2021. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate at The University of Western Australia and Research Associate at the National University of Singapore. Dr. Kumar's early career includes notable positions as Senior Research Fellow at the National Chemical Laboratory and Assistant Professor at Mewar University. Dr. Kumar earned a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, from 2008 to 2010.
