Dr Rob Wortham

Dr. Rob Wortham is an accomplished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, currently serving as the Director of AI at Global Digital Foundation since April 2022. Dr. Wortham holds various influential roles, including Committee Member for the JTC21 WG4 Trustworthy AI at CEN and CENELEC and Review Editor for Human-Robot Interaction at Frontiers in Robotics & AI. As a Committee Member at BSI, Dr. Wortham contributes to the development of standards for accountability and transparency in AI systems. Additionally, efforts include founding Instinct AI Systems Ltd and serving on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for AISB. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Intelligent Systems from the University of Bath, Dr. Wortham's extensive experience spans roles from Senior Lecturer to founder and CTO of RWA Ltd, underscoring a dedication to advancing technology in ethical and accountable ways.
