Emily Brown has a range of work experience in various roles. Emily is currently working as the Centre of Excellence Lead - Data Intelligence at Frontiers since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Frontiers from February 2022 to April 2022.

Before joining Frontiers, Emily worked at NHS National Services Scotland from 2014 onwards. Emily started as a Business Administrator in the Health Facilities Scotland division, where they provided support to senior staff and managed the web estate and publication of digital guidance documents. Emily then became an Administrative Team Lead, overseeing a team of eight administrative staff and implementing new business processes. As an Information Analyst in the Commercial Information Team, they created custom reports, developed data visualizations using Tableau, and mentored new staff. Emily'swork on data products, including a pan-public sector benchmarking tool and a national financial reporting tool, received recognition. Emily later served as a Senior Business Intelligence Technician, handling ServiceNow helpdesk calls, completing database and ETL changes, and leading high-profile external projects. Emily'srole evolved into Principal Engineer - Business Intelligence, where they delivered innovative BI solutions and products, provided consultancy services to the Scottish Public Sector, and supported developers across the public sector through a Data Visualisation Centre of Excellence. Emily worked on an Oracle Exadata platform, Data Virtualisation, Tableau data visualization, and Business Objects reporting technologies.

Overall, Emily Brown has demonstrated expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, project management, and team leadership in their career.

Emily Brown attended City of Glasgow College from 2006 to 2009, where they completed a Higher National Diploma in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Tableau Desktop, including the Qualified Associate Certification in April 2018 and the Certified Professional Certification in August 2020, both from Tableau Software.
