Fatima Halimeh

Fatima HALIMEH is currently serving as a Review Editor for Infectious Diseases focusing on Surveillance, Prevention, and Treatment at Frontiers since November 2020. Prior to this role, Fatima HALIMEH completed a PhD at Aix-Marseille University, where the research concentrated on enhancing the understanding of pathogens such as Shigella spp. and Campylobacter spp. Additionally, during a Master's research project at Lebanese University, Fatima HALIMEH investigated the most common serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae in children under five years old. Fatima HALIMEH holds multiple degrees in the field of medical microbiology and clinical biology from Lebanese University, including a Bachelor's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science.
