Francesca Vinchi

Francesca Vinchi is a seasoned professional in the field of hematology and biotechnology, currently serving as the Head of the Iron Research Laboratory at New York Blood Center since February 2018. Simultaneously, Francesca holds the position of Scientific Editor for Hemasphere - Benign Hematology at the European Hematology Association and works as an Associate Editor for the Hematologic Malignancies Section of Frontiers in Oncology. Previous experience includes a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow role at the University of Heidelberg and a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Molecular Biotechnology Center at Università degli Studi di Torino. Francesca earned a PhD in Molecular Biotechnology and has a Master's degree from the University of Turin, Italy, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the same institution.
