Franck Vazquez

Franck Vazquez is an experienced professional in the publishing and scientific research sectors, currently serving as Director of Partnerships at Frontiers since June 2021. Previously, Franck held significant roles at MDPI from January 2014 to April 2021, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer, where notable achievements included elevating the organization to a top-tier scholarly publisher and expanding the workforce significantly. Additionally, Franck served as a Council Member for DOAJ and was a Board Member for the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association, focusing on advancing Open Access publishing. Franck’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology and postdoctoral research at prestigious institutes, showcasing a strong foundation in scientific research and leadership.
