James Dalton currently serves as a Member of the Supervisory Committee at Hydropower Sustainability Alliance and as a Review Editor for Frontiers in Public Health: Planetary Health. Since May 2009, James has held various leadership roles at IUCN, including Head of the Water and Land Management Team and Director of the Global Water Programme, focusing on the implementation of an ecosystems approach to water management. Additionally, James is involved with several organizations, serving on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation and the Alliance for Water Stewardship, among other positions in steering committees and advisory councils.
