Jiawei Wang

Jiawei Wang is a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University School of Medicine since November 2022, concurrently serving as an Editor for Frontiers since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Yale University from August 2016 to October 2022, a DojoExplore Board member at Nucleate Dojo from March to September 2022, and as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at AstraZeneca for a brief period in the summer of 2022. Jiawei also contributed as a Consultant for the Yale Graduate Student Consulting Club and led a project at CtrlTrial Inc. while also providing pro bono consulting. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from Yale University, obtained from August 2016 to October 2022, a BS in Biological Sciences from Tsinghua University completed in July 2016, and a BS in Mathematics from Tsinghua University, also finished in July 2016. Prior to these roles, Jiawei was an Undergraduate Researcher at The University of Chicago in the summer of 2015.
