Kunal Mondal

Kunal Mondal is a materials scientist currently serving as R&D Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since February 2023. Mondal holds a Joint Faculty Appointment and is also part of the Affiliate and Allied Graduate Faculty at Idaho State University, where involvement dates back to September 2020. Additionally, Mondal is an Associate Editor for Frontiers and Sensor International/Elsevier since January 2022 and April 2021, respectively. Prior experience includes positions as Staff Scientist at Idaho National Laboratory from April 2019 to February 2023, Postdoctoral Research Associate at NC State University between September 2015 and October 2018, and Senior Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2015. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and multiple degrees in Materials Engineering and Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics from esteemed institutions.
