Lilly Amore serves as the Head of Enzyme Technology Development at Biocatalysts Ltd since May 2019, bringing extensive experience from prior roles as Senior R&D Scientist and R&D Scientist. Currently, Lilly additionally holds the position of Chief Editor for the "Food" section of the journal "Frontiers in Industrial Microbiology" and serves as a Section Editor for the journal Biotechnology for Biofuels and Bioproducts with Springer Nature Group. Previous contributions include being a member of the American Society for Microbiology's "Cultures" board and Young Leaders Circle, as well as an ASM Young Ambassador to Italy. A postdoctoral research experience took place at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and Lilly completed a PhD in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Naples Federico II, where Lilly also earned both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
