Per Qvist

Per Qvist is an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Genetics, focusing on the Behavioral and Psychiatric Genetics section since March 2023. In addition, Per holds the position of Associate Professor at Aarhus University since August 2022 and serves as a Management Committee Member for the COST action CA18106, The Neural Architecture of Consciousness, since August 2020. Prior editorial experience includes being an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports from April 2019 to March 2023. Per has held various academic roles, including Assistant Professor at Aarhus University (Department of Biomedicine) from September 2018 to August 2022, and at iPSYCH from July 2014 to August 2022, as well as serving as a postdoctoral researcher. Per's academic journey began with a Ph.D. at Lundbeck and Aarhus University between September 2010 and November 2013, following a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from Aarhus University and a stint at the University of Cambridge from 2008 to 2009.
