Savvas Lampridis is a highly experienced cardiothoracic surgeon and academic, currently serving as a Research Fellow at Imperial College London and as an Academic Editor for Wiley since January 2024. With a military career as a Major in the Army Medical Corps since October 2008, Savvas also holds significant editorial positions, including co-Editor-in-Chief at AME Publishing Company, Associate Editor at Cell Press, Frontiers, Sage, and Bentham Science, as well as a member of the Editorial Board for BMC. Additionally, Savvas contributes to the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery as a member of the Solitary Pulmonary Nodules Task Force.
