Sergio Olate

Sergio Olate is a prominent figure in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, currently serving as Prof. Dr. in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Universidade Estadual de Campinas. With extensive experience at Universidad de La Frontera, Olate holds multiple roles including Senior Research & Advisor at the Center for Morphological and Surgical Research and Program Director for both the Orthognathic and Complimentary Surgery Fellowship and the PhD Morphological Sciences. Olate has made significant contributions to facial deformities research and aesthetic surgery and has held leadership positions at various institutions, including the Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hospital Dr. Abraham Godoy Peña. Olate is also actively involved in editorial positions, serving as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Surgery and Editor In Chief for Craniofacial Research.
