Sonia Singh

Sonia Singh is a Journal Specialist at Frontiers since October 2025, focusing on enhancing the visibility of Research Topics in open-access publishing and analyzing performance metrics. Previously, Sonia served as a Research Scientist at The University of Texas at Dallas, applying acoustic data analytics to speech patterns, and held similar positions at UCL, Royal Holloway, University of London, and Georgia State University, where extensive research was conducted on community building, behavioral studies, and various psychological phenomena. Early research experiences included an internship at Duke University and a research assistant role at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where Sonia contributed to EEG studies and taught undergraduate courses. Educational credentials include an M.S. in Cognitive & Affective Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from Georgia State University.
