Souvik Dey

Souvik Dey, MSc, PhD, MRSB, currently serves as a Review Editor at Frontiers since November 2023 and holds the position of DBT-Ramalingaswami Fellow (Assistant Professor - Research) at Manipal Academy of Higher Education since November 2021. Previous roles include DBT-RAMALINGASWAMI Fellow (Assistant Professor grade) at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and Post Doctoral Research Associate at Kent State University, where research focused on the expression and purification of mammalian recombinant proteins. Early career experiences include research roles at Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute and CRCT, Jadavpur University, contributing to studies in cancer immunology and glycoprotein characterization related to male infertility. Souvik Dey earned a PhD in Life Science & Biotechnology from Jadavpur University, an MSc in Microbiology and Microbial Technology from the University of Kalyani, and a BSc with Honours in Physiology from the University of Calcutta.
