XiaoHui Sem has a strong background in immunology and global health, with extensive experience in both research and project management. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Singapore Immunology Network from July 2012 to January 2016, XiaoHui led research on Candida albicans and the role of human blood monocytes and macrophages in cancer using advanced genomic techniques. Currently, XiaoHui serves as a Guest Associate Editor for Frontiers in Global Women's Health and the Women in Global Health Singapore Chapter, while also working as a Scientist in the Women's Health Programme at FIND, focusing on HPV screening diagnostics and health policy. Further contributions include strategic roles in regional programmes aimed at enhancing diagnostic initiatives and leading studies to improve COVID-19 testing strategies in Malaysia. XiaoHui holds a Ph.D. in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet, reflecting a robust foundation in scientific research.
