Yogesh Kumar

Yogesh Kumar, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Biomedical Research since March 2024, focusing on Medical Data Sciences and the development of computational methods, algorithms, and technologies in disease understanding. Yogesh has also contributed as a Guest Editor at Frontiers in Food Science and Technology, and holds roles as Associate Editor and Review Editor for various Frontiers journals, including Food Modeling and Medicine and Public Health. Previously, Yogesh worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, specializing in bioinformatics and statistical analysis within Immunology, and held the position of Associate Research Fellow at the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. With a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, and additional degrees in Bioinformatics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and Kurukshetra University, Yogesh has a solid educational background complemented by extensive research experience.
