Zhen Chen

Zhen Chen is an Academic Leader at the University of Strathclyde, leading the Digital Construction Research Unit since 2016, focusing on digital construction practices and sustainability in the built environment. Chen serves as a Lecturer in Construction Management and the Course Director for the MSc in Advanced Construction Technologies and BIM, during which course admissions significantly increased. Additionally, Chen is a Specialty Chief Editor for Construction Management at Frontiers and holds various committee positions with organizations such as the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, British Standards Institution, CEN, ISO, and the COST Association. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Construction Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and multiple engineering degrees from prominent institutions.
