Aura is a spherical AI companion built for home. It moves through a room, sees what's in it, and runs as an open platform that creators can build on.
We started in early 2025. The team came together around one idea: The next interface is going to be physical, in the room with you. So we started building it.
So far:
- Multiple generations of Aura, in development since early 2025
- AuraOS — our agent architecture, running on the device
- A working prototype shown at CES 2026 
- A first batch of pre-production units in the hands of early co-creators
- Manufacturing partner engaged. Tooling underway.
