Stephen Johnston has worked in the technology industry since 1988. Stephen began their career at Sperry Sun Drilling Services (now Halliburton) as a Mechanical Technician - R&D and Senior Material Handler. In 1992, they joined ICT, Inc. as a Procurement Services Project Manager and Mechanical Technician. In 1995, they became the Manufacturing Manager at Advanced Modular Power System (Division of ICT, Inc.). From 1997 to 2004, they worked at Universal Weather and Aviation as an Enterprise Systems Support Analyst, Solaris/UNIX and LAN Systems Administrator, and Technical Support Specialist. Since 2004, they have been the CEO and Principal Technology Consultant at Frontline Computer Services, where they manage a team of 3 staff to deliver comprehensive technology support and project services for a diverse base of SMB businesses of up to 250 staff. As the single point of contact for technical support, they are responsible for meeting service level agreements from initial contact through final problem resolution including 3rd party vendor escalations.
Stephen Johnston obtained a BS in Computer Science from the University of Houston between 1995 and 1999. Stephen has also obtained a variety of certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in April 2020, Datto Certified Advanced Technician in June 2014, CompTIA A+ in March 2009, Microsoft Certified Professional in January 2007, and IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) V2 in December 2003.
