Robert Jacobs

Robert Jacobs has over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology. Robert'smost recent role was as the Director of Information Technology at Frontline Managed Services, where they were responsible for leading global IT management and support teams. Prior to that, they held positions such as General Manager Information Technology at Emerald Life Pty Ltd, Information Technology Manager at KGA Life Limited, and Project Manager at PBT Group. Robert also has experience as an Operations Manager and Systems Architect at CHKBIZ and MIH Internet Africa (Naspers), respectively. Jacobs began their career as a Test Manager and Senior Developer at Dimension Data.

Robert Jacobs obtained a B.Mil (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science & Aeronautics from Stellenbosch University between 1990 and 1992. Robert has also completed various certifications, including courses in Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, Reproducible Research, Statistical Inference, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera. Additionally, they obtained an ITIL Foundations (V3) certification from APMG International in 2015.
