Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jim is currently working at FRSecure as a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer and Information Security Consultant, where they identify and prioritizes risks for clients and assists them in building effective information security programs. Prior to this, Jim served as a Cyber Security Consultant at LMG Security, where they conducted risk assessments, developed methodologies for assessing ransomware risks and conducting cloud security reviews, and performed digital forensic investigations. Jim also has experience as a professional music instructor, running their own successful music studio for over a decade. Additionally, they worked as a Sales/Speaking Engagement Manager at Magnet Culture, where they significantly increased sales by implementing sales techniques and expanding into new markets.

Jim Nelson attended Colorado Technical University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they attended the University of Montana, majoring in Music Performance, General, and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
