Alan Laughlin

Alan Laughlin is an accomplished finance and operations executive with extensive experience in leading organizational turnarounds and strategic growth initiatives within the restaurant and beverage industries. Currently serving as CFO at Vapiano, Alan successfully led the equity restructuring of the France franchise market and the consolidation of franchises in the UK. As a member of the advisory board at Fruitisimo Group, Alan provides insights on franchise scalability and efficiency. Previously, as CEO of Vapiano, Alan achieved significant EBITDA growth and spearheaded a comprehensive operational overhaul, while also serving on the advisory board for BURGER KING Deutschland. Alan’s career includes leading the operational turnaround of numerous restaurants, co-leading a successful IPO at AmRest, and holding the role of President at Black-eyed Pea Restaurants, where Alan reversed sales declines. Alan holds degrees in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Colorado Boulder and in Finance and Accounting from Colorado State University.
