Matt King has more than 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Matt is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Automated Fruit Scouting Inc. In their previous role as COO, CTO, and Co-Founder of IUNU, they led the development and deployment of a deep learning industrial computer vision greenhouse robotics solution, raised over $15M in VC funding, and was responsible for IP strategy and numerous patents. Before that, they founded and served as President of High Tech Inc, where they developed and patented a real-time greenhouse management machine learning platform. Matt also has a background in consulting, where they provided technical and management consulting to corporate and government clients. Matt King has also served in leadership positions at Protos Systems and Sequent, where they delivered managed IT services and performed system design and implementations for large-scale corporate IT enterprises. Matt started their career as a Lead Systems Administrator at Pacific Bell Video Services and worked as a Systems Administration Specialist at Hewlett Packard. Additionally, they have experience in the academic sector, having served as the IT Manager at the College of Agriculture, Mississippi State University, and as a Technology Adviser to the President at Mississippi State University.

Matt King attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1988 to 1992, where they studied Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Matt did not obtain a degree from this institution. Additionally, Matt King also attended Mississippi State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, although the specific years of attendance are not provided.
