Daniel Padro is currently the Head of Policy - Core Regulatory at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA). They have extensive experience in financial services policy, having served as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Insurance Bureau of Canada and as a Senior Policy Advisor and Senior Manager at the Ontario Ministry of Finance from 2009 to 2016. Prior to their current role at FSRA, Daniel held several positions including Director of Policy for Credit Unions and Insurance Prudential from 2019 to 2023. They obtained a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University.
