Frank Valotta possesses extensive experience in the field of information technology and operations management. Since June 2019, Frank has served as the Director of Cloud, Infrastructure and Operations at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), following a progressive career within the organization that included roles as Senior Information Technology Manager and Manager, Operations & Service Desk. Prior to joining FSRA, Frank held the position of Manager, IT Infrastructure and Operations at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) from November 2017 to June 2019. Additional experience includes positions at Sungard Availability Services from 2013 to 2017 as Service Management Executive and Service Delivery Manager, as well as a tenure at Walmart Canada Corp. as Director of Infrastructure from 2006 to 2012.
Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA)
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was established to replace the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The agency is flexible, self-funded and designed to respond rapidly to an evolving commercial and consumer environment.
