Courtney Mitchell, LC has extensive work experience in various roles within the lighting industry. Courtney started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Highpoint Patient Services, where they demonstrated strong organizational skills and assisted in project management. Courtney then worked as a Quotes Processor at Colorado International Trading Company, building and maintaining business relationships with vendors and customers.

At Facility Solutions Group, Courtney held several positions of increasing responsibility. Courtney began as a Rebate Administrator, overseeing the utility rebate process and performing lighting audits. Courtney then became a National Accounts Inside Sales Representative, where they managed customer relationships and coordinated orders with all relevant teams. Courtney was later promoted to a Team Lead role, managing co-workers and over 50 accounts for the National Accounts Inside Sales Group.

Courtney then transitioned to Project Management, first as a National Accounts Lighting Project Manager, overseeing key multi-site accounts and retrofits. Courtney then became a Lighting Projects Team Lead, managing co-workers and overseeing high-profile construction and remodel projects for top clients. In their most recent role as a Senior Lighting Project Manager & Team Lead, they continued to lead and coach team members while overseeing projects.

Throughout their career, Courtney has developed skills in product specification, contract negotiation, and project management. Courtney has also achieved certifications, including the NAILD Lighting Specialist 1 Certification.

Courtney Mitchell, LC has a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, they attended the same university for General Studies, but they did not obtain a degree in this field. In January 2016, Courtney obtained the LC (Lighting Certified) certification from the NCQLP (National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions).
