Ward van Rie

Ward VAN RIE has extensive experience in legal counsel and supervision roles within the financial and corporate sectors. Currently working at FSMA, Ward's responsibilities include overseeing asset management, investment products, listed companies, and market operators. Prior to this, Ward served as a Legal Advisor at DBFM Scholen van Morgen NV and as an Attorney at Eubelius, specializing in general corporate, finance, M&A, and public-private partnership transactions. Ward holds a Postgraduaat in Corporate Finance from KU Leuven, an LL.M. in Law from the University of Chicago Law School, and a Master's degree in Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
