Marco Lorenz

Marco Lorenz has worked in the software engineering field since 2008. Marco began their career as a Research Associate in Computational/Theoretical Solid State Quantum Chemistry at the Universität Regensburg. In 2013, they moved to Università degli Studi di Torino, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computational/Theoretical Solid State Quantum Chemistry. In 2014, they joined Capgemini as a Software Engineer Lead and later as a Software Engineer. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at wealthpilot GmbH, and in 2021, they became a Fullstack Software Developer at FTAPI Software GmbH.

Marco Lorenz earned a Doctorate degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Regensburg in 2012, with a focus in Theoretical Solid State Quantum Chemistry/Computational Chemistry. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom Chemiker from the same university in 2008, with a focus in Physical Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry, and Scientific Informatics.
