Michael Cabrera

Michael Cabrera, CPA, currently serves as Corporate Controller at FTC Solar, Inc. since September 2025. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Corporate Controller at Waldencast from November 2022 to August 2025. Additional experience includes consulting roles at EY from August 2021 to October 2022, Payless in early 2021, and Assurant in late 2020, focusing on financial accounting and reporting. Michael has held senior positions at Brightstar Corp. as Director and Senior Manager of Global Technical Accounting between March 2017 and July 2020, and at Philip Morris International as Manager of Corporate Accounting Policy & Research from April 2013 to February 2017. Michael began a career in audit at BDO USA, LLP from September 2006 to February 2013. Michael obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and graduated from Belen Jesuit High School.
