Ishaan B.

Ishaan B. is an accomplished columnist and editor currently contributing to the Columbia Daily Spectator. With extensive experience in editorial leadership, Ishaan has served as Editor-in-Chief and Board Chair at the Barnard/Columbia Urban Review, and as a co-director at the Urban Equity Institute, focusing on democracy, public policy, and human rights practices. Additionally, Ishaan holds a position as a College Research Fellow at the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, has interned with the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, and engaged in research fellowships at Columbia University. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Political Science at Columbia University, Ishaan is also involved with the Columbia Political Review as a columnist in American political criticism and has held significant roles in various consulting and research initiatives.
