Matthew Layton is a Senior Advisor at FTI Consulting and the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Tender. They also serve as an Independent Governor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Previously, Matthew was a Partner and Global Managing Partner at Clifford Chance from 1991 to 2022. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Leeds, obtained in 1982, and attended Leeds Grammar School from 1968 to 1979. They are the founder of MRL Strategic Consultancy Limited.
