Frontier Technologies Research Alliance (FTRA) is a non-profit research and innovation network committed to ensuring Africa is prepared for, participates in, and leads in frontier and emerging technologies.
Our mission is to build the knowledge, infrastructure, and collaborative ecosystems needed for Africa’s digital and technological future. Through research, education, open-source collaboration, and community-building, we connect developers, innovators, creatives, and institutions to work on impactful solutions while promoting safe and ethical technology use.
