Mingming Fang

Mingming Fang has a strong background in product development and scientific research. From 1998 to 2002, Fang worked as a Research Scientist at Cabot Microelectronics, where they developed new chemical products for the microelectronic industry, resulting in significant revenue generation. They also filed patents and wrote research papers on Chemical Mechanical Polishing slurries.

From 2003 to 2008, Fang served as a Principal Scientist at AMCOL, driving the development of clay-based products for various industries. Their work resulted in the creation of profitable products such as mycotoxin binders and dry-processed organoclay products. Additionally, Fang managed lab chemists and provided support for testing processes.

Since 2008, Fang has been employed by Fuel Tech, Inc as the Sr. Manager of Product Development, overseeing the concept design, feature definitions, and production support of wastewater treatment and flue gas emission products. Mingming Fang pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Peking University from 1983 to 1987. Following this, Mingming went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1990 to 1995.
