Bill Decker has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. William (Bill) is currently the Vice President of Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies at Fuel Tech, Inc. Prior to this, they served as an Executive Committee Member at the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA), where they played a crucial role in promoting the interests of its members. Bill also worked as the Vice President and General Manager of the Equipment Service Group at Aqua-Aerobic Systems, INC., focusing on mixing, aeration, ozone generation, customer service, and aftermarket sales. William (Bill) served as the President of Aquionics from 2008 to 2010. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Biosolids at Ashbrook Simon-Hartley, where they achieved significant sales and profit growth, launched new product offerings, expanded aftermarket sales and services, and introduced centrifuge sales. Bill also served as the Director of Operations at Simon-Hartley Ltd and held various roles at Ashbrook Simon-Hartley, including Senior Project Manager. William (Bill) started their career as an Assistant Project Manager at Archer-Western Contractors and later worked as a Project Engineer at Danis Industries. Bill began their professional journey as a Captain in the US Air Force.

William (Bill) Decker attended Bridgeport High School from 1978 to 1980. After completing high school, they enrolled in the United States Air Force Academy from 1980 to 1984, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. Later, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, which they attended from 2022 to 2024.
