The LOW PROFILE Fluid Catalytic Cracker (LP-FCC) is a state-of-the-art patented technology from FUELogistics, Inc. and Process Innovators, LLC that was supported by grants from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), NICE3 Program, and the State of Utah, Office of Energy Services. The LP-FCC introduces the newest generation of process technologies specifically designed to tackle the difficult task of upgrading the heaviest and most viscous crudes such as the black and yellow wax commonly found in Utah’s Uintah Basin region.
