Andrew Matkin

Andrew Matkin has extensive experience in environmental services, currently serving as the Commercial Manager for Fugro since February 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing commercial activities for the Environmental Service Line and managing Fugro's Edinburgh office. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Business Development Manager at Gardline Surveys Inc, promoting a range of geophysical, geotechnical, and environmental survey services across North America, and held various roles at Gardline Limited, including Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, where project management and environmental survey oversight were key responsibilities. Andrew's earlier research roles included positions at Bangor University and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, focusing on marine biology and field sampling techniques. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Shellfish Biology, Fisheries, and Culture, along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Marine Biology from Bangor University.
